Shelly S. Rasche is an experienced artist whose colorful designs have appeared on hundreds of items manufactured by numerous companies around the world. Her artwork is represented by one of the nation’s largest licensing agencies, Applejack Art Partners of Vermont. In addition to her watercolor, Shelly loves to work with clay, stained glass, and stone mosaics. Shelly is married to Rev. Jeff Rasche, a United Methodist minister and published author. They have three grown sons--Ben, Zach, and Nick. She and Jeff keep a variety of animals on their "farmette" (three acres), including horses, miniature donkeys, dogs, cats, ducks, geese, chickens, and aquarium fish. Products that bear Shelly's designs include: · Baby bedding, lamps, wallpaper, and associated baby items sold in the mass market and specialty stores · Collectible figurines, puzzles, plaques, mugs, ornaments, water globes, music boxes, picture frames, and many other gift or three dimensional items · Fabric sold by the yard, counted cross stitch kits, blankets, t-shirts, and other cloth items · Greeting Cards, stationery, and paper products · Children’s books, magazines & illustrations for many educational curriculum materials · More than 50 plush animals for children designed for major national chains · More than 2 million prints of her artwork have sold to date · Figurines, water globes, ornaments and other products for the Universal Studios movie “The Grinch”
