We had such a great time at the Christmas dinner we attended, that we couldn't wait to reserve it for our corvette club and host a Valentines dinner there also. The scale house is absolutely awesome inside. Our group thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the work you have done and Shelly has it so beautifully decorated and with so many antiques, it truly was a wonderful experience. The candlelights and fireplace just add to the warm atmosphere inside. It is GREAT to have this place so close to home in Camp Point. Shelly's Art Studio is conveniently located about 3 miles northeast of Camp Point, just one mile due west of Central High School, 25 miles from Quincy, Illinois. What began as a historic, rustic scale house (to weigh farm wagons of grain) has been renovated into a beautiful and unique art studio and meeting place now available for your special event. See the photos of the renovated barns at Windsong Acres, each of which has been featured in two recent PBS TV programs. Better yet, plan to come visit for yourself.
